Lombardy heritage guide

Lombardy Region has appointed industrial archaeologist Edoardo Bricchetti to edit the region's heritage guide to tourist itineraries along the Martesana and Paderno canals (fiche 60).

Canal du Centre : Partner changes

The Walloon partnership was changed by decision of the Monitoring Committee in Milan. The partners approved designation of the Centre d'Animation en Langues*, to replace the Compagnie du Canal du Centre. Since the CAL is chaired by Jean-Pierre Gailliez, the partnership will retain the know-how and position acquired thanks to his efforts. This solution to a crisis resulting from a change in orientation of the Compagnie has the merit of ensuring continuity of the actions under way. It also appears appropriate in relation to the action for training canal operating staff, the first phase of which will concern 10 staff of the MET, to be welcomed by BW on the Caledonian Canal in two groups, from 27 March to 8 April.
