confidence in the potential of their historic canals! It remains
to adopt, following the logic developed at the Brussels seminar,
the indicators of "performance" of these canals, which
amounts to defining more precisely the "triangle of benefits"
(social, economic and environmental) which is often put forward
by British Waterways.
